Chicago Public Library Summer Learning Challenge

Continental Sales “lot- 4-less” is committed to nurturing our community through the support of education and we have partnered up with the West Lawn Public Library, located at 4020 W 63rd St, Chicago, IL 60629, for the Summer Learning Challenge.

Community Donations and contributions

Continental Sales is committed to nurturing our communities through the support of education and to fight homelessness and hunger. All requests for donations and involvement in community events are handled in our store. All donation requests are to be arranged with the Donations Coordinator in the store and must comply with the following basic guidelines.

Guidelines:

Continental Sales Lots 4 Less can only donate to non-profit (501c3) organizations with a valid, current tax ID number.
Donation requests are to be submitted in writing on the non-profit group’s letterhead, referencing the valid tax ID number.
The written request must explain the nature of the organization, the kind of donation being requested, why the donation in needed and how it will impact people.
Donation requests should be delivered to our store by the representative of the organization requesting the donation, at least 30 days in advance of the date the donation is needed.
Donations are limited to one per year, per organization.
Continental Sales “lots-4-less” receives a large volume of requests, and for this reason, is not able to accommodate every organization.
